Can't Stop Promoting Upcoming Shakespeare Performance In Neighborhood

Hi my name is Jane (not my real name),

I can't stop telling people about and promoting an upcoming Shakespeare by the Sea performance in my neighborhood.

I'm striking up conversations with people at the gas station, in line at the bank, at the grocery store, with other diners at a restaurant, with telephone solicitors, even real estate agents asking if I want to sell my home.

My friend said I should just wear a shirt promoting the show.  I'd wear a sandwich board if it wasn't in the middle of summer heat.  I don't think those would be too breathable.

They say until you acknowledge a problem you can't begin to solve it.

I hardly think spreading the work about an admission free community event is a problem.  (I let people know they will be asked for donations.) Shakespeare by the Sea does amazing performances under the stars.  They're the super-stars.  They even assemble their own stage on-site.  Amazing!

I wanted to share my story and I hope others doing the same thing in their neighborhoods will share their stories here too.  This season Shakespeare by the Sea tours 21 locations.  Their season will reach at least 20,000 audience members.  I'd say amazing but I've already used that word.  I don't have time to look up my Thesaurus.  I've got to make my rounds at the mall on the south side of the boulevard.  The north one I'm doing tomorrow.

Shakespeare by the Sea's slogan is right on:  Timeless Tales, Ticketless Admission, Priceless Experience.
